Video released by the coast guard shows the migrants crammed onto the small dinghy and being helped climb onboard the rescue vessel. After their rescue the migrants, all male, were taken to a port on the island. No details of their nationalities or health condition were immediately available. The Italian coast guard is operating in the Aegean Sea as part of the Europe Union’s external border force, Frontex. Greece has been the main entry point into Europe for more than a million refugees and migrants since last year. More than 130,000 people have arrived this year alone, stretching the country’s limited resources, AP reported.
