The Syrian fighter jets ' bombing of ISIS positions in the Eastern countryside of Deir Ezzur city claimed the lives of 15 terrorists and wounded many more, sources in the Eastern battlefields of the country announced Sunday. "The ISIS fortified strongholds near Howaijet Saker region were massively destroyed as a result of the Syrian warplanes' bombardments," the sources said. "Most of the ISIS military equipment and a depot of weapons and ammunition in the site were damaged," they added. Military analysts inside Syria believe that one of the best ways of comforting the ISIS in far regions, including Deir Ezzur, is using air force's bombardments. "Hitting the ISIS military camps by the country's fighter jets stands atop the armed forces agenda, because the terrorists movements can be prevented the shortest time possible," the they added. On Saturday, the Syrian army continued to clash with ISIS terrorists in Deir Ezzur province as the Syrian warplanes intensified their airstrikes on militants' positions. The Syrian air raids hit militants' positions in al-Jafre village near the military airport. Meanwhile, the Syrian forces engaged in fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists in al-Hewika district in Deir Ezzur city and fired heavy artillery shells at their positions. Meanwhile, the army destroyed ISIS positions in a special operation in al-Sina'a neighborhood in Deir Ezzur City.
