(Muslim Press) - Iran has banned more than 200 US - made goods from flowing into the country ahead of the lifting of international sanctions, according to Iranian media. Iranian government published a list, containing over 200 US-made products subject for an import ban. The list, published by the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, includes 227 products, including chewing gum, cigarettes, CDs, DVDs, billiard tables, office equipment, luxury goods, food, tea and paintings, in addition to defense equipment such as tanks and armored vehicles, Iran’s Tasnim news agency reported on Monday. The decision to block American imports was made in response to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s warning against attempts of the United States to infiltrate into Iran’s economy.
