Muslimpress:Following the deadly incident in Mecca which killed over 1500 people, the Muslim world is showing hostility on Al - Saud regime. Iran's supreme leader has called on Saudi Arabia to apologize for Thursday's deadly stampede during the annual Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's remarks came after a speech by President Hassan Rouhani at the UN in which he called for an investigation. At least 1500 people died in the crush, more than 140 of them from Iran. It was the deadliest incident to hit the Hajj in 25 years. Iran and other Muslim countries believe that this was a sign of Al-Saud’s incompetence and inability to manage the holy site. The incident happened some day after a crane crashed in Mecca and killed over 60 people, followed by a fire on Egyptian pilgrims’ tent which injured some. The rage tolled when Saudi officials refused to apologize and called a normal incident and also ‘out of the control of man’.
