(Muslim Press) - More than eight people have died due to flash flooding in Iranian capital of Tehran and southern province of Hormozgan.Torrential rain triggered floods that claimed four lives in Pakdasht town in southeast Tehran on Friday, the director general of Crisis Management for Tehran Province Hadi Rahmati said. Rescue teams were immediately sent to the flood - hit areas and are conducting rescue operations, he added. A senior official in Hormozgan has also said bodies of four members of a family were identified in the flooding in western regions of the province Friday evening. Two months ago, at least 11 people died in similar incident in the provinces of Tehran and Alborz.
