The first ever vaccination campaign in 2015 has taken place in Yemen where a brutal conflict is raging on, UNICEF reported.Over 4 million children under five years were vaccinated against Polio and nearly 1.5 million between six months and 15 years vaccinated against measles. The escalation of the conflict in March has disrupted regular immunization services. Insecurity and acute shortage of fuel have made it difficult to distribute and store vaccines and for people to access routine immunization services. It’s critical to vaccinate children in Yemen where the threat of diseases is exacerbated by a devastating conflict with no end in sight.Recommended:Saudi airstrike on Yemen claims 8 lives
