An Israeli airstrike in Syria has killed six members of Hezbollah including the son of the group ' s late military leader Imad Moughniyah, the Lebanese militant movement says.The Israeli army attacked Amal Farms which is located in the strategic southwestern city of Queitra by firing two misiles into the area on Sunday. Following the attack,the Lebanese militant movementannounced that several of its members were killed in the airstrike. The airstrike was carried out days after Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that Israel ' s attacks in Syria were a major aggression, and that Syria and its allies had the right to respond to the strikes. The attack has killed Jihad Mughniyeh, the son of Hezbollah ' s late top military commander killed in 2008, and several other members of the group, Hezbollah said. The strike has also destroyed one of Hezbollah ' s vehicles entirely and damaged another, a Lebanese security source told The Daily Star. Israel has reportedly carried out several airstrikes in Syria over the past four - year - old crisis in the country.
