The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought holds the 28th annual Conference on Unity matters between Islamic thoughts. Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, the secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed hope that the conference brings prominent Muslim figures together to discuss ways for confronting discord. His started the conference on January 7th 2015 by his speech. The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed hope that the international event will serve to enhance unity in the Muslim world. The Islamic unity conference is an annual event that provides an opportunity for scholars to share views and review problems facing Muslims while presenting solutions. The World Forum for Proximity, the organizer of the conference, is an international forum founded by Iran. Its main objective is to create unity and solidarity among Muslims worldwide, regardless of their schools of thought. In this annual event more than 1300 Muslim thinkers came from more than 65 countries worldwide.
