A Palestinian worker was killed by three gunmen in the town of Qalansuwa in the Palestinian occupied territories. Abd al-Azim al-Wadiya who is the head of the village council of Qusra in the Nablus distrit has said that the attack occurred Saturday when the gunmen opened fired on the victims apartment in the Arab town. Three bullets hit Kathem Ramadan Sami Odeh in the stomach and the neck and he lost his life, al-Wadiya added. Alwadiya said that the other workers who were in the apartment at that moment managed to escape the attack. Whether there was an ulterior motive behind the shooting still remains unclear. He added that Odeh's body was transferred to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv. Israeli police have kept quiet about the incident.
