Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has accused the White House of subduing Moscow, warning that no one has ever succeeded in doing so and never will. On Tuesday, while speaking at a forum of the All-Russia Peoples’ front in Moscow, the Russian president claimed that no one in the history of Russia has been able to suppress the country. "Throughout history no one has ever managed to do so toward Russia, and no one ever will," he said. Putin disagreed that the U.S was trying to humiliate Russia and added that they wanted to “solve their problems at our expense.” The Russian leader added that Russian people like Americans, but the US politics are not really accepted. “I think America and its people are more liked than disliked by Russian people. It’s the politics of the ruling class that is negatively viewed by the majority of our citizens,” Vladimir Putin said.
