In his recent speech in G20 summit, President Obama said that Russia has the opportunity to take a different path to resolve the issues of Ukraine that respects Ukraine’s sovereignty and is consistent with international law. "That is our preference and if it does so, then I will be the first to suggest that we roll back the sanctions that are frankly having devastating effects on the Russian economy," Says Obama. "If he continues down the path that he’s on, violating international law," he added, "providing heavy arms to the separatists in Ukraine, violating an agreement that he signed just a few weeks ago, then the isolation that the Russia is currently experiencing will continue." President Obama has also talked about Syria, claiming that Washington has not considered overthrowing Asad's government and is still seeking a diplomatic solution. "In fighting against ISIS, we will not cooperate with the Syrian government," he added.
