Kish Island will host tens of scientists from all over the world for the First Asian-African Conference of Mycobacteriology from March 7 to 11, 2015. The congress, themed ‘Mycobacterium and Related Diseases’, will review and highlight the latest developments in mycobacterium disease, particularly those caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis, mycobacterium bovis and non-tuberculosis mycobacterium (NTM). The Asian-African Society of Mycobacteriology (AASM) is set to award dedicated to scientists conducting excellent research in the field of mycobacteriology. There will be one gold ($5,000) and three silver ($2,500) awards which will be presented at the congress and the awardees will be given the opportunity to present their works.
