Timemagazine has published photographs of a decapitation by the foreign - backed Takfiri militants operating inside Syria.
The photographs show the brutal beheading of a Syrian army soldier by the terrorists. The photos of the brutal murder of the Syrian man near the northwestern city of Aleppo have sent shockwaves around the world. An eyewitness toldTime that members of the al-Qaeda affiliate known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) carried out the execution in the town of Keferghan on August 31, 2013. The decapitation was the last of four executions by Takfiris on that day. The Syrian soldier reportedly put up a struggle, but was overpowered by the militants. The unnamed photographer kept his name anonymous for fear of reprisals from militants. Since the outbreak of the deadly unrest in Syria in 2011, several video clips and photos have been released showing the grisly crimes committed by the terrorists against innocent civilians in the country. Earlier in August, a gruesome video emerged on the Internet, showing the Takfiris setting three Syrian Kurds on fire. The video, which was posted online on August 5, showed the al-Nusra Front militants pouring a flammable liquid on the hand-cuffed, blind-folded men, who appear to be Syrian Kurd soldiers. The militants then pushed the three into a fire they had made.
