The Mexico international, who is expecting more game time this season, has been impressed by los Blancos' transfer dealings but has faith in the Blaugrana's potential Jonathan dos Santos says that Barcelona must ignore the hype surrounding Real Madrid and its summer signings and focus solely on itself ahead of the start of the team's Liga title defense. The Blaugrana romped to the title last year, finishing 15 points clear of their great rivals from the Spanish capital, but many pundits believe that Los Blancos are much better equipped to challenge this time around after the summer arrivals of Isco, Asier Illarramendi and coach Carlo Ancelotti. However, while Dos Santos acknowledges that Madrid has enjoyed a productive summer, he feels that the champions need only worry about their own squad. “We shouldn’t focus on Real Madrid," the Mexico international told the Catalan club's official website. "They have a great team and they’ve signed good players, but we have to focus on ourselves. "I’m sure it will be another season of great rivalry.” Dos Santos made just three appearances for Barcelona during the 2012-13 campaign.
