The 30th International Holy Quran Competitions with representatives from over 70 countries in attendance ended its work here in Tehran.

The competitions which started at Tehran ' s Milad Tower International Convention Center last week wrapped up on Thursday. The jury of the contest has 17 members, 8 of whom were Iranian and the rest were from other countries. Officials and reciters of Holy Quran from more than 70 Muslim and non - Muslim countries have taken part in the six - day event. Vahid Vakili and Hashem Soltaninejad represented Iran in the competitions in both reading and reciting sections.
