A top Iranian commander has warned ISIS and other terrorist groups that they will be targeted with more missile if they dare to attack Iran.
“As stated in the IRGC statement, the terrorists will be confronted with more serious measures and stronger slaps in the face if they continue their devilish acts,” Advisor to Supreme Leader's representative at the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) General Javani said on Monday.
On Sunday evening the IRGC launched 6 missiles on ISIS bases in Deir Ezzur in response to their June 7 terrorist attacks in Tehran.
The commander noted that the IRGC is in possession of a large number of such missiles that can be launched at any time against the terrorists.
On Sunday night, the IRGC announced that the mid-range missiles were fired from bases in Western Iran.
“A number of mid-range ground-to-ground missiles fired from the IRGC Aerospace Force bases in Kermanshah and Kurdistan provinces targeted the Takfiri terrorists in this operation and struck them with lethal and crushing blows,” the statement said.
The statement also said that a large number of terrorists have been killed and their equipment, systems and weapons have been destroyed in the operation.
