Yemen’s Supreme Political Council on Sunday unveiled the Arab country’s first ever indigenous drone, a report said.
According to the report carried by Yemen's official Saba news agency on Sunday, the homegrown drone, named “Rased (observer)”, was shown to the public for the first time during Yemen's Drone Exhibition underway in the Arab country.
Saleh al-Samad, the head of the Arab country’s Supreme Political Council, attended the unveiling ceremony, the report added.
A number of other drones are also on display at the exhibition. They are all designed to carry out offensive, reconnaissance, and espionage operations.
