The sole female soldier fighting on front-lines of Aleppo this week, filming her daily movements with the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) around this once volatile front.

The woman was identified as Rose Morad, a soldier from the Latakia Governorate that used to work in the Aleppo Zoo before joining the army during the war.

"On the front lines of the old city that a Syrian soldier named Rose Morad, CCTV’s Xu Dezhi meets with the only female soldier and asked her why she fought in such a brutal conflict.

Rose and several other Syrian women across the country joined the Syrian Arab Army's Republican Guard forces because of their induction of female soldiers and willingness to let them fight against ISIS terrorists, AMN reported.
