The Yemeni army, with support from the Houthi fighters, conducted attacks on Saudi military positions, killing 10 Saudi soldiers, Al-Masirah TV reported.
According to reports, a Yemeni sniper neutralized a Saudi soldier at the Faridah military base located in the southwestern province of Jizan in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
The incident was followed by an attack in the Al-Raboah region of Saudi Arabia’s Asir province, leading to the death of nine Saudi troops, Al-Masdar News reported.
Afterwards, a volley of rocket and artillery attacks smashed the Saudi military bases of Faridah, Hamraa and al-Ghawya in the same province.
Saudi Arabia has carried out airstrikes as well as ground advances inside Yemen. Since March 2015, Yemeni people have gone through a devastating humanitarian crisis as a result of Saudi raids.
Thousands of civilians have lost their lives in the attacks and at the moment, Yemeni people are in dire need of safe water to drink, healthcare, food, etc.
The Houthi forces took control of Yemen affairs in 2014, following Hadi’s resignation.
