According to the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS), Israeli soldiers on Wednesday at dawn, abducted 16 Palestinians, including a 12-year old child during home invasions and violent searches in different parts of the occupied West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem.

The PPS reported that soldiers invaded communities in the district, searched homes and kidnapped 16 Palestinians.

The kidnapped Palestinians have been identified as Mohammad Sabbah, 12, Mohammad Ahmad Sheikh, 21, Mohammad Maher Sheikh, 20, Mahmoud Ahmad Sheikh, 22, and Amir Khalil ‘Affana, 19.

The Israeli troops also kidnapped four Palestinians in Hebron, situated in the southern part of the West Bank. The abducted residents were identified as Sa’id Saqer Sha’rawi, 43, his son Ramadan, 23, Basel Eskafi, and Rajeh Abu ‘Ajamiyya, 45.

“The soldiers also invaded and searched homes, and kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Ahmad Hasan Khaseeb and Nidal Hindiyya,” the PPS in Ramallah reported.

The Israeli forces also abducted Palestinians from Qalqilia, in the northern part of the West Bank, Salfit, and occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian civilians are repeatedly targeted by the Israeli regime in the occupied territories.

In November, the Israeli occupation forces as well as the Israeli colonists stole the harvests of olive farms that are privately owned by the Palestinian villagers of Deir Sharaf.

Dozens of Palestinian families were shocked to find that their olive trees had been harvested, and immediately accused the residents of the nearby colony of stealing their produce. They vowed to report the crime to the Israeli authorities, and to ensure that the thieves are prosecuted,” said the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) official, Ghassan Doghlous, who oversees the Israeli colonial activities in the northern areas of the West Bank.
