According to the latest polls, Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump is the most popular presidential candidate among Americans who live in Israel.

A poll by the Jerusalem Post revealed that Donald Trump is much more favored among Americans living in Israel, compared to his rival, Hillary Clinton.

The result of the poll showed that 49 percent of respondents chose the famous businessman over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, who received 44 percent of the Israeli-American vote.

The poll was carried out by iVoteIsrael and KEEVOON Global Research between Monday and Wednesday this week, and the full state-by-state results will be released on Thursday.

Only 2 percent of respondents said they would vote for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.

This year, around 30,000 people can vote in the US election from Israel. This a sharp decline than US voter turnout in Israel in 2012 in which more than 80,000 dual nationals cast their ballots.

The news comes after a poll which was conducted in Arab countries in order to determine which candidate is more popular in those countries.

The survey showed that Hillary Clinton is the favorite candidate in the Arab states. She is also more popular than Trump among Arab Americans.

This is while the US presidential election has started in America. The 2016 election seems to experience one of the biggest turnouts in the history of US elections.
