A HEROIC gunman dubbed 'The Sniper of Mosul' has killed a ISIS executioner - just as the ISIS thug was getting set to behead a teenage boy.
Depraved daesh fighters are said to live in fear of the sharpshooter who has taken out many among their ranks in the under siege city of Mosul.
Islamic State (ISIS) killers have been taken out by death squads throughout the occupation.
Local residents in the Iraqi area dubbed the most prolific shooter 'The Sniper of Mosul'.
And he has now saved a teenager from a monstrous fighter execution with one fatal shot in his most recent rescue of ordinary citizens.
According to reports ISIS members had gathered for the execution of the teenage boy who was accused with supporting resistance movements within the city in Iraq.
But when the executioner took aim to behead the boy, the sniper opened fire – fatally wounding the would-be killer.
Terrorists began opening fire randomly after the sniper’s attack as they panicked, according to Al Sumaria News.
It is not known who the shooter is or who the sniper works for but rumours have circulated over him - or her - working for “special forces” such as the SAS or Navy SEALs.
It is also not clear if there are “many snipers” or just the one.
Now, Iraqi forces are at the start of a large-scale operation to retake Mosul from ISIS in the country - alongside US-coalition allies.
As the Iraqi army bears down the sniper is being heralded for increasing “popular resistance” against the death cult as the city looks on the verge of liberation.
The resistance against ISIS is growing as a result.
It has even been reported women in burkas are fighting back with weapons concealed beneath their veils - and have shot ISIS soldiers at check points in the area.
Despite his executioner being killed by the sniper, the teen boy was shot by ISIS fighters before he could escape.
Ministers warned a defeat in Mosul could send ISIS fighters streaming over Europe to the UK to carry out revenge attacks.
