Has the 50-year-old converted to Islam after marrying Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Manna?
A heavily pregnant Janet Jackson has been spotted covered up from head-to-toe in what appears to be full Islamic dress.
The 50-year-old was snapped shopping in London with her husband Wissam Al Mana on Thursday, wearing a comfy over-sized poncho, baggy pants and flat boots.
"I didn't even recognise her," says an onlooker on her ensemble, which was a far cry away from the racy stage outfits Janet once favoured. "I had to look twice before I realised it was her."
The sister of the late Michael Jackson's appearance comes after she officially confirmed her pregnancy last week.
Posing for a stunning new photo shoot for People magazine, the singer cradled her bump, saying: 'We thank God for our blessing.'
She announced six months ago she was postponing her tour to 'have a family' with her Qatari hubby and has subsequently been spotted with a growing baby bump, but has never commented about the news until now.
It was previously revealed Janet had been suffering from morning sickness but was thrilled to be pregnant.
A source said: 'Janet is super excited. She's doing great. Janet feels really strong and is just so excited for the baby to come. She feels like this is one of the best things ever to happen to her.'
The singer, who some news outlets suggest may have converted to Islam after tying the knot with Wissam, 41, in 2012, could be seen happily rubbing her bump as she shopped for children's clothes at a fancy boutique.
The younger sister of Michael Jackson first sparked pregnancy speculation when she postponed her world tour in April, explaining she and her husband were “planning our family.”
