Israeli troops shot at unarmed Palestinian bird hunters that were using nets Wednesday morning at the eastern borders of the Khan Yunis district in the southern parts of Gaza Strip.
According to Ma'an news agency, witnesses reported that soldiers deployed at Israeli military watchtowers launched fire at borderlines alongside the al-Fukhari, al-Umour, Abasan al-Jadida, Khuzaa, Abasan al-Kabira, and al-Qarrara villages.
No injuries have yet been reported.
An Israeli army spokesman said the military was looking into reports.
Israeli army, on a nearly daily basis, ignites conflicts inside the besieged Gaza Strip and near the buffer zone which is located on both land and sea sides of Gaza.
Palestinians working near the buffer zone between the Palestinian city and Israel are often faced with fire from Israeli military forces.

This is while the military forces regularly open fires at Palestinian fishermen and farmers near the border areas, despite a truce between the two sides that ended the 2014 war on Gaza.
A week ago, Israeli forces opened fire at two Palestinians and injured them during conflicts in the eastern parts of Gaza Strip.
The two people were shot and injured by Israeli forces, and another Palestinian man suffered from tear gas inhalation as the Israeli forces opened fire at a protest east of Gaza city.
