Iran’s Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council, Mohsen Rezaei, has strongly criticized the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas for his recent meeting with the chairwoman of an anti-Iran terrorist group named Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO).
Rezaei slammed the Palestinian President as “the most incompetent individual” in the Fatah party.
“We will break the foot of anyone who takes the least step against the Iranian nation,” Rezaei posted in his Instagram page.
“Having failed to take an effective step for the Palestinian people, Abbas has met another failed element in order to strengthen Munafiqeen (MKO) against Iran,” he added.
“Among the Palestinian leaders, Abbas has been the most good-for-nothing one in the Fatah movement,” the Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council said.
Rezaei slammed Abbas as a failure for Palestinian cause who has met “another bankrupt person and is plotting against Iran.
The Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization fled Iran in 1986 and was welcome by the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. Along with the Iraqi dictator, the MKO fought against Iran during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran.
After Iran’s Islamic revolution in 1979, the MKO carried out acts of terrorism inside Iran, including bombings in public places, which claimed over 17,000 civilian lives.
