Former Emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, has criticized the role of Saudi Arabia and its Foreign Ministry in the latest coup in Turkey and has accused the country for “being involved in the coup.”
According to the Middle East Panaroma news agency, Hamad bin Khalifa has strongly condemned the military coup in Turkey and stressed on his country’s solidarity with Ankara in all legal actions taken by the legitimate Turkish government.
The ME Panaroma, however, did not mention where Hamad bin Khalifa has made these comments.
He also accused the United States and “one Western country” for plotting this coup and denounced the ties between Saudi foreign minister, Adel Al-Jubeir, with these countries.
“Al-Jubir remained silent despite being aware of what was being plotted against the Turkish state and its security and stability,” the former Emir of Qatar added.
