Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei ' s open letter to Western youths went viral despite the fact that the great majority of Western news agencies have ignored it.Iran’s leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei wrote a letter to Western youths asking them not to judge Islam’s doctrine based on terrorist attacks taking place in their countries.
The letter went viral on Wednesday right after it was shared on his official Twitter account. The hashtag#Letter4U
is used on Twitter for publishing contents on this matter.
In the letter, the Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution asks a series of very important questions from the youths in Europe and North America. He also asks the readers to read the Qur’an and study the teachings of the Prophet of Islam and his “humane and ethical doctrines”. He warns the Western youths of the dangers of learning Islam through the biased Western media. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ends his message by asking the readers to “gain proper, correct and unbiased understanding of Islam so that hopefully future generations would write the history of this current interaction between Islam and the West with a clearer conscience and lesser resentment.”
